Could Tesco Extra Watford go solar?
One of the largest Tesco Extra stores going, the Watford big-box carries a single flat warehouse roof of about 13,400 sqm. It also sits in one of the sunnier spots in this group. We measured roughly 4,900 panels, close to 2 MW, for an estimated 1.7–2.0 million kWh a year — around 680 homes' worth. An installer survey would confirm the numbers.
