Could Royal Liver Building go solar?
Few silhouettes say Liverpool like the Royal Liver Building, its twin clock towers and Liver Birds guarding the waterfront. The Grade I roofs — domed towers and pitched ranges — cover roughly 3,400 sq m, a measured 250 kWp of potential, about 620 panels and 169,000–207,000 kWh a year. These are heritage figures: measured scale on an icon that isn't going to be re-clad in glass.
