Right in the heart of Manchester, the Arndale is one of the UK's biggest city-centre malls, and its broad low-pitch roof covers about 26,000 sqm above the shops. We measured it at roughly 9,400 panels, around 3.7 MW — enough for an estimated 2.6–3.2 million kWh a year, comparable to about 1,080 homes. An installer survey would confirm the workable roof.
