Liverpool Cathedral is the largest cathedral in Britain, and its steep sandstone-flanked roofs over the nave and choir cover close to 7,700 sq m. Run the estimate and you reach roughly 1.1 MW — about 2,660 panels and 770,000–940,000 kWh a year. As twentieth-century heritage fabric on this scale, it's a measured figure, not a serious proposition for panels.
