Could Ibrox Stadium go solar?
Rangers' Ibrox in Glasgow pairs a red-brick, category-listed main stand with newer roofing on the other three sides. Add it up — close to 6,000 sq m — and a full solar install could hold roughly 1,600 panels for about 640 kWp. Glasgow's lighter sunshine keeps the estimate grounded: some 390,000–480,000 kWh a year, comparable to around 160 homes.
