Could Asda Wembley Superstore go solar?
This detached Asda on Forty Lane in Wembley comes with its own car park and a large flat roof of about 9,900 sqm. We measured roughly 3,500 panels, around 1.41 MW, which could generate an estimated 1.2–1.4 million kWh a year — in the region of 475 homes. A survey would confirm how much of the roof is workable.
