Could Asda Bedminster Superstore go solar?
The Asda superstore on East Street in Bedminster anchors this part of south Bristol with a large flat retail roof of around 10,300 sqm. We measured roughly 3,700 panels, about 1.47 MW, enough for an estimated 1.2–1.4 million kWh a year — comparable to some 480 homes. An installer survey would confirm the practical roof area.
