Could Alexandra Palace go solar?
Google's roof read gives Alexandra Palace, the Victorian 'People's Palace' on its Muswell Hill ridge, roughly 3.3 MW of theoretical full-roof solar — about 8,300 panels across 24,000 sq m of pitched roof over the great halls, or some 2.9–3.5 million kWh a year. That's a working entertainment venue, so any real scheme means heritage consent and structural surveys long before a panel is fixed.
