Solar in this area
What solar could generate in this area.
We looked at the metered output of 14,879 real UK solar installations to see how much a roof could make. In the area this installer covers, we estimate the following:
≈999 kWh per kWp a year
For PL19 (West Devon) that is roughly 5% above the UK average: a 4 kWp system, about ten panels, would make roughly 4,000 kWh a year on a well-placed roof. Across the Plymouth (PL) postcode area, the middle half of 74 metered systems made 607–905 kWh per kWp in 2024.
Check your roof's potential today with our roof check. This is an estimate: the size and suitability of your roof, the way it faces and other factors all play into what you could generate, so an in-person roof survey is always recommended.
