For installers

Be the first installer homeowners see in your city. Free.

Homeowners come to Solarable to check their roof. They leave with a Solarable Report and the installers covering their postcode underneath it. Claim a city, or the postcode districts you work in, and your company leads that list on every report, every time. One installer per area, first come first served.

The idea

We generate the demand. You take the first call.

A solar installer in Bristol does not fit panels in Leeds. Every directory still lists as if you did: national placement, and a queue of competitors on the same page sorted by whoever paid most or whose name starts with A.

Solarable works the way you do. Homeowners check a specific roof at a specific address, and the report tells them whether solar works there. The ones who read "strong" or "good" want to know who to call. Claiming your area puts your company at the top of that answer, in the places you actually drive to.

You claim a city or the districts you choose. Not a map of Britain, and not a bill.

What the homeowner does

Four steps. Your card appears at step four.

  1. 1

    They look for an answer

Homeowners find Solarable through search, our guides and the roof check. They arrive with one question: will solar work on my roof?

  2. 2

    They check their roof

House number and postcode. We show their home from above, the roof direction, the sun it gets and how much of it is usable.

  3. 3

    They get a Solarable Report

A score, a system size, an annual benefit range. A clear answer, with the next step spelt out: get an installer survey.

  4. 4

    They see you first

Under the report sit the installers covering that postcode. The installer who claimed the area leads the list, with the logo and the bigger card. Then they call you.

Two ways to be first

Claim a city, or pick your postcodes.

A city

First across the whole city.

Your card leads the city directory page and every Solarable Report, savings result and postcode search in every district the city covers. One installer per city.

For example: Bristol, Bath, Exeter, Leeds.

Individual postcode districts

First in the streets you choose.

Pick the districts you want more work in. Your home patch, the next town, the estate you already have vans on. One installer per district.

For example: BS7, BA2, EX4.

How it works

From first email to first place.

  1. 1

    Tell us where

A city, or the postcode districts you want. We tell you straight away whether they are still open.

  2. 2

We verify and set you up

We check your MCS certificate against the register, then set up your profile with you or attach the area to the page you already have. Nothing to pay.

  3. 3

    You go live, first

Your card leads every report, savings result and directory page in your area from the day it goes live.

  4. 4

    You get the numbers

Every month: how many times your card appeared, how many homeowners clicked through, called or emailed, by district.

Straight facts

What claiming an area means, in four lines.

Free to claim

No fee, no card details, no per-lead charge. Claim the area, lead the list.

One installer per area

A city or a district has one first-place installer. First come, first served, and whoever holds it keeps it while they stay listed.

The report never changes

The Solarable Score, system size and annual benefit come from the roof. Claiming an area changes the order of the installer cards and nothing else.

MCS-verified, always

Every installer who leads an area is MCS-certified and checked against the register. That is what keeps the homeowner trusting the list you lead.

Common questions

FAQs.

Is it really free?

Yes. Claiming first place in your city or your postcode districts costs nothing. We verify your MCS certificate, set up your profile and put you first.

How many leads will I get?

We measure it rather than promise it. You get the appearance and click counts for your area every month, by district, so you can see exactly what first place is doing for you. We do not quote a number we have not measured.

Can I claim more than one area?

Yes. A city plus the districts around it, or a handful of districts across two towns. Claim the areas you actually work in.

What if a competitor already has my area?

Then it is taken while they hold it. Tell us anyway and we let you know the moment it comes up. The next move is the districts beside it.

Does this change what the homeowner is told about their roof?

No. The report is the same for every homeowner whoever leads the list. Your card sits under a report they already trust.

I already have a Solarable listing. Does that count?

Your listing stays as it is. Claiming an area puts it first in that area. If you have not claimed your page yet, do that too: it lets you edit your details and add your logo, and the area is attached to it when it goes live.

Claim your area

Take your area before the next installer does.

Tell us who you are and where you want to be first. We check your MCS certificate and what is open, and reply within one working day.
